Here at Amos Wood, we only know one grade~good.  For your cabinet stock, we'll run whatever species you need, paint grade or clear coat, to exact size and straight.  For furniture makers or someone looking for a special mantle or countertop, we have an inventory of spectacular planks in many species.  These pieces are sawn through and through, so there is the bark edge on each side.  Not all these planks are perfect of course, but we can select just the right piece for your intended use.  Invariably, designing is happening as the pieces are reviewed.  Great fun.

Unique & Specialty Products

We also offer woods that can be used as highlight, as an entry presentation, or as a wall covering that "wood" be completely unique, e.g. 8' ash, 15" wide, resawn to have 2 bookmatched pairs, or the 4 in slip set.  Polished, trimmed, and framed with a nice walnut moulding~ what a foyer wall covering~ wood as art, just as the tree grew it.
